Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Senior Egress Specialist at Vance Air Force Base to perform repair and maintenance on cockpit egress components, including ejection seats, canopies, hatches, and related subsystems. You will inspect, test, repair, and modify egress systems, remove and replace time-change components, and assist with canopy rigging and seat/ canopy work.

The role requires a high school diploma, US citizenship to obtain site access, a valid driver’s license with REAL ID, and prior experience

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license with REAL ID within 30 days.
• US Citizenship required to obtain site access.
• Experience with removing, inspecting, installing, repairing egress systems.
• Air Force Aircrew Egress Systems Apprentice Course or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the performance of egress team maintenance.
• Maintains aircraft egress systems including seats, canopies and related subsystems.
• Inspects, repairs, maintains and modifies egress components.
• Ensures safety and performs related duties as assigned.
