Job summary

AECOM Hunt is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead field operations on a complex aviation construction project. You will drive safe, high-quality delivery across MEP, structural, airfield systems and civil scopes in a live airport environment.

Responsibilities include planning and coordinating work with tight schedules, mentoring field teams, managing multiple contractors, and ensuring adherence to budget and schedule with robust contingency planning.

Qualifications

• BS Engineering/Construction Management or similar; 10+ years construction experience.
• Valid US Driver's License.
• Megaproject superintendent experience; aviation exposure preferred.
• Experience managing multiple prime or specialty contractors; union and non-union environments.
• Proficiency with field management tools (e.g., Procore), digital plan sets, scheduling workflows.
• OSHA 30.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field construction operations for assigned packages or areas.
• Plan, coordinate and execute work in active airport environments with phasing, constraints and night/curfew windows.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary trade partners, inspect work, and maintain schedule and cost targets.
• Serve as a field leader, coach, and mentor for superintendents.
• Own short-interval plans, look-ahead schedules, logistics, and sequencing for scopes.
• Lead daily coordination meetings and align field teams, vendors, and trades on plan-of-day.
• Manage shutdowns, tie-ins, and cutovers.
• Ensure robust contingency and recovery planning.
