Job summary

Holt Construction Corp. is seeking a Senior Construction Manager/Senior Project Manager for aviation sector projects.

You will plan, manage, and oversee construction from cradle to grave, including budgeting, buy-out, organization, and scheduling to achieve timely, cost-effective delivery. The role requires 7–10 years in construction/PM, strong leadership, and expertise in contracts, schedules, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• BS degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field.
• 7-10 years of experience in construction management and/or project management.
• Solid knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules and standards.
• Ability to read, interpret contracts, drawings, specs, scopes of work, and schedules.
• Advanced knowledge of CM processes, means and methods.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Primavera, Procore, and MS Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent leadership and management skills.
• Excellent time, organizational and project management skills.
• Detail oriented with ability to see the big picture.
• Conflict resolution and crisis management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
• Review project in-depth to ensure schedule deliverables are met.
• Review owners’ contract to ensure project execution in line with agreement.
• Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses.
• Review project financials regularly to evaluate progress and identify expenditures.
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and reporting requirements.
• Prepare internal and external reports on job status.
• Manage and direct construction workers and coordinate team members.
• Monitor on-site and off-site construction for regulatory adherence.
