Join to apply for the Senior Aviation Architecture Planner role at HNTB.

It is an exciting time to join HNTB’s Architecture practice! We are seeking a highly motivated candidate with excellent analytical and communication skills and a passion for aviation to help pursue and deliver our large portfolio of aviation terminal planning projects at the nation’s largest airports.

This position involves applying complex aviation planning strategies, leading pursuit and delivery of aviation terminal planning, and serving as a primary liaison with clients to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to client satisfaction. Responsibilities include research, design studies, data analysis, architectural design, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and mentoring staff. The role may also include project management for medium to large projects.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and presenting technical viewpoints and ensuring standardized delivery using HNTB systems.
• Collaborating with project teams and managing project planning and scheduling.
• Promoting BIM standards and quality assurance protocols.
• Leading client relations and business development efforts.
• Mentoring junior staff and contributing to practice-wide standards and initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and 12 years of relevant experience.
• Registered Architect (RA).

Preferred skills and experience:

• Extensive airport planning experience, especially at large hub airports.
• Project management with a focus on profitability.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit for developing concepts and drawings.
