Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EE/CE/Physics/CS/ME or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in CAD/AutoCAD and design of AV/lighting systems.
• Strong oral and written communication; ability to explain technical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design audio, video, lighting, and acoustical systems aligned with customer specifications, installation requirements, and profitability goals.
• Prepare submittal drawings and engineering data, including designs for custom enclosures, consoles, and installation instructions.
• Test and evaluate system performance to ensure quality and alignment with design standards.
• Document customer and vendor interactions, including dates, names, and concise summaries.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Job Superintendents to prioritize quality control and provide clear installation guidance.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment by collaborating across divisions and profit centers.
