Job summary

FORTÉ is seeking an experienced Audiovisual Support Engineer to own design, implementation, and support of complex AV systems for a key enterprise customer. You will lead installations, integrate with IT networks, mentor junior staff, and manage escalations to ensure seamless events and daily operations.

The role emphasizes advanced diagnostic skills, cross-functional collaboration, and staying current with AV trends such as AV-over-IP and cloud-based management.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and supporting enterprise AV systems.
• Strong knowledge of AV protocols, networking basics, and firewall/VPN integration.
• Ability to mentor junior staff and lead cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and configure comprehensive AV systems for boardrooms, auditoriums, and training facilities.
• Troubleshoot complex AV hardware, software, networking, and interoperability issues.
• Lead AV installations and configurations, including video walls and AV-over-IP.
• Manage AV-related projects, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communications.
• Collaborate with IT and network teams for full system integration.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Level 1/2 technicians.
