Job summary

MediaVine Pro Audio/Video in Denver, CO is seeking an experienced Audio Visual Design Engineer to create cutting-edge AV designs across audio, video, lighting, and control systems. You will develop technical documentation, collaborate with sales and installation teams, and ensure designs are implemented efficiently and accurately.

The role involves producing detailed design documents, BOMs, and labor estimates, while guiding installation and ensuring compliance with building codes and project

Qualifications

• Experience in AV design and integration (audio, video, lighting, and control).
• Proficiency with D-Tools, Visio, AutoCAD; Vectorworks bonus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, architectural plans, and system requirements.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent oral and written communication, customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• System Design & Documentation: Design AV systems based on standards.
• Produce detailed design documents including BOMs and labor estimates.
• Prepare comprehensive Bills of Materials (BOM) and preliminary labor/travel cost estimates.
• Collaboration with Sales and Installation Teams: refine design proposals.
• Coordinate with installation teams to ensure designs meet project specs.
• Provide technical guidance during installation and troubleshooting.
• Meet deadlines for documentation packages to procure equipment.
• Client Interaction & Support: maintain open client communication.
• Delivery of high-level customer service throughout the project lifecycle.
• AV Construction Drawings Review: read and redline drawings for accuracy.
