Job summary

DataVox is seeking an experienced Audio Visual Service Technician to join our Dallas–Fort Worth team. You will maintain, service, troubleshoot, and support commercial AV systems across the market.

The role requires deep knowledge of AV control systems (Crestron/AMX), projection and display tech, and strong customer-facing communication. DataVox offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial Audio Visual installation, commissioning, or service experience.
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting complex Audio Visual systems.
• Experience working in commercial construction environments.
• Experience with AMX and/or Crestron control systems.
• Strong understanding of AV systems, video conferencing, DSPs, and projection/display tech.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair commercial audio visual systems.
• Troubleshoot complex AV, video conferencing, and control system issues.
• Perform service calls and preventative maintenance on installed AV systems.
• Configure and support Crestron and AMX control platforms.
• Install, configure, and calibrate audio and video equipment.
• Document service activities and communicate findings with customers and internal teams.
• Provide excellent customer service while representing DataVox at client sites.
