Job summary

Equiliem is seeking an Audio Visual Project Manager to oversee commercial AV installations in the Atlanta metro area. The role manages budgets, schedules, field teams, and client communication to ensure quality and technical compliance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of AV project management experience and strong knowledge of Crestron/Extron, DSPs, Dante, and related cabling. Travel within the Atlanta area is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing commercial AV installation projects through the full lifecycle.
• Strong technical knowledge of Crestron and Extron systems, DSPs, displays, speakers, cabling, and commissioning.
• Experience managing budgets, proposals, purchase orders, billing schedules, and change orders.
• Experience coordinating field teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Strong client communication, organization, documentation, and problem solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools.
• AVIXA CTS, Crestron, Extron, or QSC/Q-SYS certifications are highly preferred.
• Advanced Dante certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial AV projects from proposal and planning through installation, commissioning, and closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, PO, billing schedules, and change orders.
• Coordinate field teams, subcontractors, and vendors to meet milestones and quality standards.
• Review project documentation, track progress, and maintain accurate reporting.
• Identify project risks and take corrective action to address schedule, cost, or quality issues.
• Communicate with clients, manage expectations, and support ongoing account relationships.
• Oversee quality checks and confirm installed systems meet project requirements.
