Job summary

FGS LLC is seeking an experienced Audio Visual professional in Maryland to support secure information systems integration. You will install, test, and troubleshoot AV/IT cabling and equipment, and lead a small team to install AV systems across sites.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in AV installation, strong drawings interpretation skills, and Extron/Crestron experience. Top Secret clearance and US citizenship are required, with up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

Minimum ten years' audio-visual installation experience.
Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, blueprints, and related documents.
Experience with low voltage wiring, fiber/copper termination, and racks.
Ability to obtain and keep a TS/SCI security clearance.
Extron & Crestron installation experience.

Responsibilities

Develop system mock ups to support testing and integration.
Build, test and troubleshoot equipment and network configurations.
Read/Understand system block diagrams.
Read/Install detailed build drawings.
Configure AV equipment including Extron, Crestron, AMX, Cisco, ClearOne, and Biamp.
Fabricate and install AV and IT cabling.
Assist in diagnosing problems with AV systems.
Lead a team with minimal oversight to install AVMM systems.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
