Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Lead Audio Video Installation Technician to lead field projects across the Greater Hampton Roads and Richmond areas. This role focuses on installing and troubleshooting commercial AV systems, with mentorship of junior technicians and collaboration with sales engineers and contractors.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of AV installation experience and 3+ years in leadership, with strong communication and safety focus in a field-based environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience installing and troubleshooting commercial audio/video systems.
• 3+ years leading AV installations or supervising technicians.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee commercial AV installation projects.
• Train and mentor junior technicians onsite.
• Coordinate with sales engineers, project teams, clients, and contractors.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot AV systems and infrastructure.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to client expectations.
• Maintain professional communication and strong customer service throughout installations.
