Job summary

Nuro is seeking a Senior Systems Test Engineer, Autonomy Behavior, to transform our Verification & Validation ecosystem. You will focus on automated test pipelines and the standardization of triage workflows across all workstreams, driving data-driven autonomy development and supporting the Autonomy Safety Case.

You will collaborate with teams across Simulation, Data Platform, and Infra, designing scalable validation tooling and contributing to strengthening the overall autonomy architecture,

Qualifications

5+ years of technical work in autonomous systems with 3+ years in AV testing.
Proficiency in Python or C++ for automation and tooling development.
Experience building and validating large-scale simulation/test pipelines.
Strong understanding of sensing, perception, prediction and planning interactions.

Responsibilities

Design and implement automated test pipelines and tooling for autonomous systems.
Drive standardization across testing modalities by unifying triage workflows across workstreams.
Lead root cause analyses and identify testing gaps to improve V&V processes.
Translate gaps into concrete technical requests for partner teams (Data Platform, Simulation, Infra).
Collaborate with partner teams, providing guidance, code reviews, and documentation to ensure scalable solutions.
