Job summary

Shield AI seeks an experienced Software Integration Engineer to advance the Hivemind autonomy platform. You will become a power user of the Hivemind SDK, validate customer use cases, and provide feedback to engineering and product teams.

You will help integrate new autonomy capabilities and ensure robust, mission-ready systems across simulation, hardware-in-the-loop, and flight environments. You will work with cross-functional teams to optimize integration workflows, diagnose defects from logs

Qualifications

Minimum 3–5 years with a BS or 2 years with a MS in CS, Comp Eng, or Robotics.
Proficiency in Python or C++ programming.
Experience with autonomous systems, server apps, or middleware is required.
Strong CI/CD experience and debugging across subsystems.
Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Become a systems integration expert for autonomous robotics and the AI stack.
Configure, deploy, and integrate multi-agent systems across simulation and flight platforms.
Understand end-to-end sensor inputs to autonomous behaviors.
Integrate new capabilities into the autonomy stack with cross-functional teams.
Lead platform bring-up and validation on new robotic hardware.
Develop integration tooling and dashboards to accelerate testing and CI/CD.
