Job summary

Cyngn Inc. is seeking a Senior Robotics Systems Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy software across the autonomy stack for autonomous industrial vehicles.

You will work across behavior, planning, controls, perception, and vehicle integration to deliver reliable production systems on autonomous tuggers and forklifts at customer sites. The role requires strong C++ and Python skills, ROS/ROS2 experience, and a track record of delivering robotics software in real-world environments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on software development for robotics/autonomy.
• Experience with ROS/ROS2 middleware and sensor integration.
• Proven ability to develop, test, and deploy production-quality software on autonomous platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy autonomy software across the vehicle stack.
• Write production-quality C++ and Python for autonomous platforms.
• Integrate autonomy software with sensors, vehicle hardware, and middleware.
• Develop simulation scenarios, tests, and regression tooling for autonomy.
• Collaborate across Planning, Perception, Localization, and Hardware teams.
