Job summary
Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Senior Autonomy Designer (Product Owner) for the Cat MineStar Solutions group in Irving, TX. You will own the team backlog, refine requirements, and ensure alignment with stakeholders while guiding agile delivery to maximize value.
The role emphasizes clear stories, acceptance criteria, and close collaboration with engineers, QA, design, and leadership. Ideal candidates will have an engineering degree, English and French language skills, and strong Agile experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Fluency in English and French (preferred).
- Experience with backlog refinement and sprint planning in Agile environments.
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps tooling and workflows.
- Mining operations experience is advantageous but not required.
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the team backlog with clear, prioritized items.
- Lead backlog refinement and sprint planning with the delivery team.
- Align with stakeholders and coordinate cross-team dependencies.
- Ensure stories meet acceptance criteria and Definition of Done.
- Provide ongoing clarification to unblock delivery and maintain momentum.
