Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Senior Autonomous Vehicle Perception Engineer in Dallas, Texas to lead the perception algorithms development for LiDAR, radar, and camera systems and sensor fusion across autonomous platforms.

You will architect real-time C++ processing pipelines for object detection, classification, tracking, and integration with embedded environments, while collaborating with planning, controls, and systems teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 4–7 years of experience developing perception systems for autonomous vehicles or robotics platforms.
• Expert proficiency in C++ (C++11 or newer) with production-grade, multithreaded Linux applications.
• Proven experience with LiDAR point cloud processing, automotive radar processing, image processing, or sensor fusion and object tracking.
• Experience with Robot Operating System (ROS or ROS2) and DDS or publish-subscribe messaging architectures.
