Job summary

ARi is seeking an experienced Systems Integration & Validation Engineer to support the development and validation of Caterpillar’s autonomous mining truck systems. The role focuses on SIL testing, system-level integration, and test automation, with collaboration across global teams.

The candidate should have strong skills in software and systems validation, Python scripting, and handling complex test environments, working with worldwide engineering groups to ensure robust deployments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including a master’s degree.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline preferred.
• Strong experience with SIL testing, system integration, and software validation.
• Experience testing and troubleshooting complex software and hardware-integrated systems.
• Hands-on experience developing automation scripts using Python or similar scripting languages.

Responsibilities

• Perform system integration, testing, and validation of autonomous truck systems using SIL, HIL, and on-machine testing environments.
• Develop and execute test plans and new test procedures to validate features and functionality.
• Identify, troubleshoot, document, and track software and system issues.
• Develop Python scripts or automation tools to improve test execution and administration efficiency.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams to validate and integrate components.
