Job summary

Torc Robotics is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for the AD-Kit Systems Team in Ann Arbor, MI. You will own and drive decomposition, alignment, and traceability of product requirements across compute platform systems, including embedded compute, data logging, power distribution, sensors, and autonomy modules.

You will lead architecture development, integration/test planning, and collaborate with Product to translate product-level requirements into detailed autonomy system requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with required experience as stated.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Hands-on systems, hardware, and software engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of compute platform system requirements.
• Maintain requirements databases using Jama.
• Interpret product-level requirements and decompose into autonomy system specs.
• Lead development of AD-Kit System architecture.
• Develop system integration and test plans.
• Stay updated on industry trends and promote best practices.
• Perform root-cause analysis and problem resolution.
