Job summary

The Mining Services Engineer III – Autonomous Systems at Komatsu Mining Technology Solutions supports deployment, performance optimization, and continuous improvement of autonomous mining technologies at customer sites. This senior individual-contributor role blends mining engineering expertise, operational analytics, and autonomous-system knowledge to enhance safety and productivity of haulage operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related technical discipline; equivalent experience may be considered.
At least 5 years in surface mining, mine planning, or mining technology.
Experience with autonomous mining systems or related technologies.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Analyze autonomous haulage performance using data, simulation, and mining principles.
Define and monitor KPIs to identify improvement opportunities.
Lead or support site-readiness assessments and feasibility studies.
Support configuration, testing, commissioning and validation of autonomous haulage solutions.
Provide technical guidance to customers and internal stakeholders.
Develop documentation, training materials, and best practices.
Contribute to proposals and Total Cost of Ownership analyses.
