Job summary

Teradata seeks a senior AI engineer to design and deploy autonomous agents within the Teradata AI platform. You will build scalable, secure frameworks that enable agents to reason, plan, act, and collaborate in production across hybrid environments.

You will collaborate with AI researchers, platform engineering, and product leadership to extend agentic capabilities and ensure safe, governance-driven implementations that deliver real business value for customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field.
• Proven experience designing, developing, and deploying autonomous AI agents at scale.
• Deep expertise in agent development, LLM integration, and runtime systems.
• Strong Python, Java, Go, or C++ programming skills.
• Experience with governance, safety, and compliance in AI environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and build autonomous AI agents and enterprise-scale systems.
• Lead cloud-native framework development for agentic AI across production environments.
• Collaborate with AI researchers, platform teams, and product leadership to ship capabilities.
• Succeed by enabling enterprise customers to leverage safe, scalable AI agents with measurable value.
• Contribute to memory management, context handling, observability, and identity in agent systems.
