Job summary

Genesis of Carmel is seeking a C-Level Automotive Technician to perform vehicle maintenance in line with dealer and factory standards. This role emphasizes building customer loyalty by delivering trustworthy service for vehicle safety and reliability at a busy Napleton dealership.

The position offers a competitive starting pay of $50,000+ per year, paid training, manufacturer certifications, and opportunities for cross-training and career advancement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Automotive technical training or experience as a lube tech or technician assistant.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Complete vehicle inspection.
• Check and communicate oil level to teammates.
• Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation.
• Perform wheel alignments.
• Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary.
• Install a new oil drain plug and a new oil filter.
• Clean and lubricate fittings as needed.
• Clean and replace batteries.
• Replace or repair exhaust system.
• Remove and reinstall brake drums and/or brake shoes.
• Replace radiators.
• Perform manufacturer recalls that do not require diagnostic equipment.
• Ensure the service center is clean and presentable.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
