Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Iowa is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while mentoring a team to enhance customer care. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is offered for first-time hires, with a flat-rate pay model reflecting regional tasks and performance.

This role requires diagnosing and repairing brakes, hydraulics, steering, suspension, and related systems, with ongoing training and ASE certification opportunities paid by the company.

Qualifications

• Valid driverlicense required at all times.
• Brake and hydraulics, steering and suspension, and tire repair skills.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least three of A168– A8 within first two years of employment (Tests and registrations fees are paid for by company pass or fail. Technicians receive bonus for each test passed)
