Job summary

Bridgestone Americas is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while leading a team toward improved customer care. The role uses a flat-rate pay model to reward efficiency and skill, with training and certifications supported by the company.

You will stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training and help coach junior technicians in daily tasks, focusing on quality and safety across brake, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing brake, hydraulic, steering and suspension issues.
• Ability to explain repairs to customers in clear terms.
• Commitment to ongoing training and ASE certifications.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications—brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and A/C.
• Explain diagnoses and repairs to non‑mechanical customers.
• Pursue ASE certifications within two years of hire; training costs covered by company.
• Train and assist technicians in technical tasks.
