Job summary

Bridgestone America, Inc. in Duluth, MN, is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, lead a team, and improve customer care. Pay ranges from $20.60 to $33.47 per hour with a flat-rate model recognizing productivity and skill.

Sign-on bonus applies to first-time hires, and extensive training is provided. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing brakes, hydraulic systems, exhaust, ignition, suspension, A/C, and electronics, plus mentoring junior

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: valid driver’s license; safe driving record.
• 3 years of automotive repair experience or equivalent; ASE certification in at least one of A1–A8 (L1 acceptable).
• Ability to explain technical information and work with non-technical customers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications (brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C, and computer systems).
• Explain diagnoses and repairs to customers clearly.
• Stay current with automotive tech through paid training; assist/train technicians.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within two years (fees paid by company).
