Qualifications

• Previous professional automotive repair experience.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to perform repairs efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
• Comfortable using computers, scan tools, digital inspections, and manufacturer service information.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record.
• Must provide a basic set of automotive hand tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical duties associated with automotive repair.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair customer vehicles efficiently and accurately.
• Perform repairs according to repair orders, manufacturer procedures, and dealership standards.
• Diagnose electrical, drivability, mechanical, and performance concerns using appropriate diagnostic equipment.
• Complete thorough digital multi-point inspections with clear notes, photos, and videos.
• Communicate inspection findings and repair recommendations clearly with Service Advisors.
• Perform warranty and recall repairs according to manufacturer requirements.
• Review technical service information, service manuals, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer bulletins as needed.
• Test drive vehicles to verify customer concerns and confirm completed repairs.
• Properly document diagnostic findings, causes, and corrections on repair orders.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
• Work with advisors, parts personnel, and other technicians to maintain an efficient workflow.
• Complete manufacturer and dealership training as required.
