Job summary

Bridgestone is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, while using leadership to drive a team toward higher customer care. The role emphasizes continued formal training and mentorship of teammates. Flat-rate pay is offered to reward efficiency.

Responsibilities include hands-on repairs across brakes, hydraulics, steering and electrical systems, with opportunities to earn ASE certifications. This is a full‑time position with good benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required and able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Demonstrated skill in brakes and hydraulics systems and/or steering & suspension and alignments.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance and tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications for brakes, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non‑mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Aim to obtain or maintain ASE certifications within the first two years of employment and participate in company-paid test fees.
