Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Mesquite, TX seeks a Senior Automotive Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, leading a small team toward enhanced customer care.

You will stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training and pursue ASE certifications, with a focus on safety, quality, and teamwork. Bridgestone offers competitive pay and benefits starting day 1.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license at all times.
• Demonstrated skill in brakes and hydraulics systems and/or steering & suspension and alignments.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain A.S.E. certifications in at least three of A1 – A8 within first two years of employment.
