Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. in Nashville, TN is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while using leadership and mentoring skills to drive a team toward increased customer care and satisfaction.

The role offers a pay range of $18.54 to $35.52 per hour, with a $2,000 sign-on bonus and opportunities for ASE certifications through company-funded training.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience in brakes, hydraulics, steering, suspension and alignments; tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, ignition, suspension, A/C and electrical systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years; tests paid by company; bonuses per test.
