Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. in Nashville, TN is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while leading a team toward higher customer care. A sign-on bonus of $1,500 is offered.

The role uses a flat-rate pay model with a pay range of $19.57–$33.47 per hour. The company supports ongoing training, ASE certifications, and competitive benefits for all teammates.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid automobile driver's license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Demonstrated skill in brakes, hydraulics, steering, suspension, and alignments.
• General automotive maintenance and tire repair experience.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications across brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, alignment, and A/C systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical customers clearly.
• Maintain current automotive technology knowledge through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Pursue and obtain ASE certifications (A1–A8) within the first two years; tests may be paid by the company; bonuses for passed tests.
