Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technician at our Nashville, Tennessee location to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, while using leadership and mentoring to drive a team toward higher customer care and satisfaction.

The position provides a flat-rate pay model, pays for ASE certifications, and includes on-the-job training, paid time off, 401(k) match and ongoing professional development within Bridgestone's network of tire and auto service centers.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license at all times.
• Skilled in brakes and hydraulics, and steering/suspension.
• Experience in tire repair and general automotive maintenance.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair brake, hydraulic, electrical, suspension, A/C and other systems to spec.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-technical customers.
• Keep up with automotive tech via ongoing paid training.
• Mentor and assist technicians in technical tasks.
• Pursue and maintain ASE certifications (company covers fees).
