Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) seeks a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and to lead a team toward higher customer care and satisfaction. Pay Range: $20.60 - $31.55 per hour, with a flat-rate pay model based on task productivity reflecting regional averages.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience or certifications in brake, hydraulics, steering, suspension, and electrical systems.
• Reading, writing and math skills; ability to explain technical info to non-technical people.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, and A/C systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within two years of employment; tests are paid for by the company; bonus for tests passed.
