Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations in Rio Rancho, NM seeks a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while mentoring a team toward improved customer care. You will diagnose and repair a range of systems and stay current with evolving automotive technology through paid formal training.

The role offers a $3,000 sign-on bonus and a flat-rate pay model with a pay range of $19.57–$31.62 per hour, plus benefits from day one, including medical, dental and vision, paid vacation, and

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience with brakes, hydraulics, steering/suspension, and alignments.
• General automotive maintenance and tire repair skills.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications for brakes, hydraulics, electrical, and suspension systems.
• Explain diagnoses and repairs to non-mechanical customers.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with automotive technology.
• Assist and mentor technicians in performing technical activities.
• Aim to obtain ASE certifications within two years of employment.
