Job summary

Bridgestone America, Inc. in Rio Rancho, NM is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, while using leadership and mentoring to improve customer care and satisfaction.

You’ll perform repairs across brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and A/C, and pursue ASE certifications within two years, with paid training and a transparent, performance-based pay model.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Demonstrated skill in brakes/hydraulics and/or steering & suspension/alignments.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance & tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brakes and hydraulics, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical customers.
• Stay current with rapid automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least three of A1–A8 within first two years (tests and fees paid by company).
