Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) seeks a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while applying leadership to drive a team toward higher customer care and satisfaction.

This role offers a $1,500 sign-on bonus for first-time hires and a pay range of $25.30 to $40.01 per hour. The company uses a flat-rate pay model rewarding productivity and expertise for regional work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid automobile driver’s license at all times.
• Skill in brakes and hydraulics systems and/or steering & suspension and alignments.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance & tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and alignment, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non‑mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive technology via ongoing paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within two years of employment; tests and fees covered by company; bonuses for tests passed.
