Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in Keller, TX is seeking a Senior Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair customer vehicles with precision, following MAP guidelines and manufacturer standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as automotive technician or mechanic required.
• ASE certifications accepted in lieu of experience.
• Ability to use computerized diagnostic equipment.
• Valid Driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• State Inspector license within 30 days where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicles per certifications/experience level.
• Perform MPI/Repair Order work with accuracy.
• Carry out complex and heavy‑duty repairs.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to managers, service consultants, and customers.
• Recommend necessary services and document in customer file.
• Follow safety procedures and report concerns to supervisor.
• Work flexible schedule, including weekends as needed, but not Sundays.
• Adhere to company policies and values.
