Job summary

Bridgestone Americas is hiring a Senior Technician in Colorado Springs to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, lead a team, and mentor technicians. The role offers a flat-rate pay model, with pay reflecting productivity and regional averages.

Responsibilities include explaining repairs to customers, ongoing training, and ASE certification progression. Excellent benefits and a clear path for professional growth are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience with brakes/hydraulics and/or steering & suspension and alignments.
• General automotive maintenance and tire repair skills.
• Current federal, state and local certifications/licenses where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications—brake and hydraulic, exhaust, ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive technology through ongoing formal training.
• Assist and train technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
• Aim to obtain or maintain ASE certifications within the first two years of employment (fees covered; bonuses for tests passed).
