Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Minnesota is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while leading a team toward higher customer care and satisfaction.

You will perform diagnostics, mentor technicians, pursue ASE certifications, and participate in ongoing training, with a $1,750 sign-on bonus for first-time hires and a pay range of $22.66 to $33.47 per hour. The role offers full-time hours and a benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license at all times.
• Demonstrated skill in brakes and hydraulics and/or steering & suspension.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance and tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications—brake and hydraulic, exhaust, ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive technology through ongoing training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications in at least three of A1–A8 within two years (fees paid by company).
