Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience with brakes and hydraulics and/or steering/suspension.
• Experience in tire repair and general automotive maintenance.
• Current federal, state and local certifications where applicable.
• Ability to explain technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, ignition and electrical systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical customers.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid training.
• Assist and train technicians in technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within two years of employment.
