Job summary

Based in Nashville, Tennessee, Bridgestone Americas, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, and to lead and mentor a team toward higher customer care.

The role involves staying current with automotive tech, training, and pursuing ASE certifications within two years; pay range of $20.60–$31.15 per hour in this region; company-wide benefits start day one.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Experience with brakes and hydraulics, steering & suspension, and tire repair.
• Federal, state and local certifications/licenses where applicable.
• Ability to explain technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications: brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension/alignments, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and repairs to non-mechanical customers.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid training.
• Assist and train technicians in technical activities.
• Aim to obtain A.S.E. certifications within first two years (tests fees paid by company).
