Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO), part of Bridgestone Americas, seeks a Senior Technician in Laredo, TX. You will diagnose drivability and electrical systems, lead a team, and mentor others to improve customer care and satisfaction.

Sign-on bonus of $2,000 for new teammates and a pay range of $23.00–$38.24 per hour with performance-based flat-rate compensation. We offer training, ASE certifications, comprehensive benefits from day one, paid vacation/holidays, and a supportive work

Qualifications

• Valid driver\'s license at all times.
• Experience with brakes, hydraulics, steering, suspension.
• Experience in automotive maintenance and tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake, hydraulic, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension, alignment, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical customers.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications within two years of employment; tests are company-paid.
