Advantage Auto Service in Palmyra, New Jersey, is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join a busy three-bay shop. You will perform general repairs, diagnostics, and vehicle inspections across Asian and domestic vehicles, with a focus on quality and efficiency.

The position offers a hybrid pay plan at $25–$45 per hour, with weekly pay and earning potential of $80,000–$100,000 based on productivity and bonuses; ASE certifications can boost pay.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional automotive repair experience is REQUIRED.
• Experience servicing Asian and domestic vehicles; European vehicles a plus.
• Ability to independently perform general repair and maintenance work.
• Basic to intermediate automotive diagnostic capability using scan tools and diagnostic equipment.

Responsabilités

• Perform general automotive repair, maintenance, and vehicle inspections.
• Complete brake, suspension, cooling system, water pump, window regulator, and external engine component repairs.
• Remove and replace automotive components as required for assigned repair work.
• Perform basic to intermediate automotive diagnostics using scan tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Service primarily Asian and domestic vehicles; some European and fleet vehicles.
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections using Tekmetric; training available for those without DVI experience.
• Work toward an expected production level of approximately 40 flagged hours per week.
