Drivesouthwest is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our service team. You will diagnose and repair a variety of vehicles in a professional, shop-focused environment, with a hybrid pay structure designed to reward efficiency.

You’ll work on domestic and import makes and models, document findings clearly, and maintain a clean, safe workspace. The role emphasizes collaboration, reliability, and delivering high-quality service while advancing in a merit-based shop.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an automotive technician.
• Own a complete set of personal hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
• ASE certifications are a strong plus.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues.
• Execute high-quality repairs and maintenance on a wide variety of domestic and import makes and models (brakes, suspension, steering, HVAC, engine performance, etc.).
• Clearly document findings and repair recommendations for the service team.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
• Ensure all repairs are completed efficiently and to the highest safety standards.

Position Overview

• License: Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Attributes: Reliable, detail-oriented, and a collaborative team player.

Compensation: $28.00 – $45.00 per hour (Base hourly + Flat-rate production bonuses, depending on experience)
