Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, while leading a team toward higher customer care and satisfaction. The role offers a pay range of $21.63–$30.85 per hour, with a flat-rate pay structure and strong training opportunities.

Based in our Westland, MI location, you will mentor teammates, pursue ASE certifications, and provide exceptional service in a fast-paced auto care environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Skilled in brakes and hydraulics and/or steering & suspension and alignments.
• General automotive maintenance & tire repair experience.
• Current federal/state/local certification or license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications for brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and A/C.
• Explain diagnoses and required repairs to customers.
• Stay current with automotive technology through formal training.
• Assist and train other technicians.
• Pursue and maintain ASE certifications (L1 or other) within two years; test fees paid by company; bonus for tests passed.
