Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Cary, NC is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while using leadership and mentoring skills to drive a team toward higher customer care and satisfaction.

You will stay current with evolving automotive technology, train peers, and contribute to a culture of safety and quality. Bridgestone offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for ASE certifications.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license at all times.
• Demonstrated skill in brakes and hydraulics and/or steering & suspension and alignments.
• Reading, writing and math skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain A.S.E. certifications in at least three of A1–A8 within first two years of employment.
