Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while using leadership to mentor a team toward higher customer care and satisfaction.

The role offers a flat-rate pay model with rates aligned to regional productivity, and a path to ASE certifications through company-supported training. Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to explain complex repairs to customers are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience with brakes, hydraulics systems and/or steering & suspension and alignments.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance and tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications for brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, and A/C.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-technical customers.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years of employment; tests/fees paid by the company.
