Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while leveraging leadership to guide a team toward higher customer care and satisfaction. The role emphasizes ongoing training and ASE certification progress.

Responsibilities include explaining repairs clearly, staying current with automotive tech, and mentoring junior technicians in a dynamic retail service environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a valid automobile driver's license.
• Skilled in brakes diagnosis/repair and alignment, steering & suspension.
• Familiarity with automotive maintenance and tire repair.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brake and hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and alignment, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians on performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least five of A1–A8 within first two years of employment.
