Job summary

High Street Auto Repair is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician in Jefferson City, MO, to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical vehicle concerns across a broad range of work. Expect to perform diagnostics, preventive maintenance, inspections, and test-drives, with a mix of domestic, imports, and fleet service, using professional diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

• Approximately 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience.
• Strong B-Level automotive repair skills or higher; A-Level technicians are encouraged to apply.
• ASE certifications preferred, but not required.
• Ability to consistently produce 40+ flagged hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical vehicle concerns across a broad range of repair work
• Perform automotive diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting using scan and diagnostic equipment
• Complete preventive maintenance and vehicle inspections
• Test-drive vehicles as part of job-related diagnosis and repair verification
• Service a vehicle mix that is primarily domestic, along with imports and a small amount of fleet work
• Use Snap-on, Autel, and TOPDON diagnostic and scan equipment
• Help implement digital vehicle inspections as the shop expands its processes
• Assist with parts-related tasks as needed
