Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, based in Nashville, TN, is seeking a Senior Technician for its Maplewood, MN location. You will diagnose drivability and electrical systems while mentoring teammates to improve customer care and satisfaction.

The role offers a $1,750 sign-on bonus for first-time hires and a pay range reflecting regional standards. The position uses a flat-rate pay model, with eligibility for ASE certifications and on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• Valid drivericense and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Brakes and hydraulics, and/or steering & suspension experience.
• General automotive maintenance & tire repair skills.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to explain technical information to non-technical audiences.
• Reading, writing and math skills.
• 3 years automotive repair experience or vocational training.
• ASE certification in A1-A8 (L1 acceptable).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications: brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain diagnoses and repairs to non-technical customers.
• Stay current with automotive tech through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in technical activities.
• Aim to obtain/maintain ASE certifications within two years (fees paid by company).
