Job summary

Optimize Auto in Orem, Utah, seeks experienced A- and B-Level Automotive Technicians for a Monday–Friday schedule. Earn $30-$50 per flagged hour with production bonuses and potential annual earnings of $85,000–$115,000+ (A-Level) or $60,000–$95,000 (B-Level) based on production.

The shop handles domestic, Asian, European, and fleet work, using Autel MaxiSys and Tekmetric, with ongoing training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience is REQUIRED.
• Strong independent repair ability for experienced A-/B-Level technicians.
• Intermediate to advanced diagnostic skills, especially electrical systems.
• Electrical diagnostic and repair experience is highly preferred.
• Experience using automotive scan tools and diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, drivability, and electrical concerns across domestic, Asian, European, and fleet vehicles.
• Perform intermediate to advanced automotive diagnostics using scan tools, including Autel MaxiSys equipment.
• Complete general repair, preventive maintenance, vehicle inspections, and component replacement work.
• Perform major repairs such as head gasket replacement, transmission swaps, and engine removal and replacement.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and complete repairs based on diagnostics.
• Prepare repair estimates and coordinate with the shop on recommended work; parts ordering handled separately.
• Document inspections, findings, and repair information using Tekmetric.
• Aim for production level of ~40 billed hours per week with accurate repairs.
