Job summary

Roland Berger is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Automotive Practice in Chicago, Detroit, or Boston. You will work with leading automakers, suppliers, and technology companies on electrification, autonomous mobility, AI strategies, and new business models.

You will analyze market data, build financial models, and develop strategic recommendations, collaborating across geographies to deliver high-impact results for clients.

Qualifications

5+ years of relevant industry/consulting experience.
MBA or PhD/MA/MS in relevant field preferred but not required.
Experience in strategy or management consulting is preferred.
Understanding of auto industry business models and dynamics.
Strong analytical skills and ability to think independently.

Responsibilities

Analyze market, financial, operational, and client data to identify insights and develop recommendations.
Structure complex business problems into clear workstreams and analyses.
Build financial models and business cases to support decisions.
Prepare client presentations with insights and recommendations.
Support client meetings, interviews, and workshops.
Develop realistic work plans with deliverables and timelines.
Contribute to internal initiatives such as business development and recruiting.
